Apalachicola’s historic
Raney Guest Cottage circa 1835 Located at 46 Avenue F the original cottage dates from the mid 1800’s and is one of Apalachicola’s oldest residences. According to oral history, the cottage was built to provide quarters for the Raney family during construction of their grander permanent residence that still exists and faces Market Street. Tastefully renovated and equipped with modern conveniences, the Raney Guest Cottage provides visitors to this picturesque seaport all the privacy and comforts of home. The cottage is situated two blocks from the Apalachicola River and one block from the town center and is within easy walking distance of shops, restaurants, and Apalachicola’s historic waterfront.
